The EBS CardManager app introduces a robust layer of security for EBS debit card holders engaging in online transactions. This application facilitates secure authentication of purchases, ensuring that users can shop with confidence.

Starting February 2021, every online transaction conducted with an EBS debit card will require authentication through the EBS CardManager app. This initiative incorporates Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), a critical measure designed to combat fraud and safeguard online purchases.

To utilize this enhanced security feature, users are advised to follow these steps:

1. Download the EBS CardManager app.
2. Launch the app, where you will be prompted to enter your date of birth and mobile number.
3. Authenticate your mobile phone by calling the customer care number displayed on the screen and providing a code word sent to your phone. A member of our customer care team will confirm your identity by asking you to read this code word aloud, thereby linking your mobile device and the app to your EBS debit card.

Once this setup is complete, the SCA will remain active, enabling a seamless and secure online shopping experience without the need for repeated authentication steps.
